I have been doing a lot of traveling, research and home work
around South Africa and have made some good contacts and
seen some amazing places. Have also visited quite a few
Anglo-Zulu and Boer battlefield sites which are
extremely interesting.

Have started doing mountain bike races and it takes you
to spectacular places. There are races every weekend which range from 5 km fun races to 82 km classic races
in teams of two. Have done three 45 km races up until
now and they have been excellent.

Along with the mountain biking am training for the Dusi
Canoe Marathon which takes place in January every year. Being a novice you have to do a proficiency test along
with 6 races before you can do the Dusi.

Did my first two races with a few small crocs in the river
and it went well. Two down 4 to go.
